UCSB Reunion, Part 1

10 years ago this year Brian and I graduated from UCSB. My college roommates and I have long talked about getting together for a reunion. We finally managed to coordinate the schedules of seven families and rented a beautiful house in Santa Barbara for the weekend.

Wyatt unpacking his toys

Brendan entertaining the kids: Davin, Michael, Dahlia, & Alexandra

Jumping on the trampoline. This was hands down Wyatt's favorite feature of the house. He asked to go bounce as soon as he woke up every morning and wanted to bounce, bounce, bounce all day long!

Even Baby Laila got to bounce (with the help of her mama Zoe)

Playing with the parachute - the kids loved it, especially going under the parachute (though it seemed like half the time they ended up on top of it!)
Pictured: Wyatt, me, Alex, Dahlia, Dan A. & Erin

No matter how many times Dan explained it they still climbed on top of the parachute!

This was the playhouse for the kids. Julie & Dan B. slept here, and as Julie pointed out, it was a mini-house, with double-paned windows and electrical outlets. The only thing it lacked was plumbing.

Bounce! I love this picture of Alex in mid-jump.

The Tafts chilling in the family room before Wyatt's bedtime

Anne, Bridget, Erin, Dahlia, Alex, Mike, & Michael hanging out before the kids went to bed

The big boys playing pool: Dan B., Alex, and Mohamed. We were excited to finally meet Anne's fiancee Alex. Not only was he totally cool, but he got major props for agreeing to come stay with 12 strangers and all their kids for the weekend. The bonus: our next reunion will be at Anne & Alex's wedding in the spring!
