Fun Around the House

Now that Wyatt is crawling, he likes to explore. Last night he crawled over to me as I was doing the dishes and started playing with the rug and then my sock.
Sometimes Wyatt needs to stop to take a nap during dinner. Eating like a big boy is hard work.

Brian is furloughed every other Friday, so he and Wyatt get to spend extra time together. Last Friday they went to the car wash, which Wyatt was fascinated with.

The other day Wyatt discovered something more fascinating than the TV - the washing machine! He sat and watched the clothes spin for at least 10 minutes.

In the morning, Wyatt plays while I get ready for work. He is all smiles when he wakes up!

Wyatt and Dean

Last weekend we went to visit Grandma Margy and Grandpa Bob. Aunt Lori brought Dean up so the boys could play together for the first time. For the most part, they played near each other more than they played with each other. Here Wyatt and Dean have tipped over the box of toys and are busy pulling everything out.
Oh no, caught in the act!

Umm, Dean, I am playing with this. You have your own rattle...

Crawling

Wrangling babies - harder than it looks! They both lunged for toys at the exact same time!

Before and After

Halloween

Wyatt was a skeleton this year for Halloween. He had a bad cold so we stayed home and handed out candy to trick-or-treaters.
This was the closest thing we got to a smile from Wyatt, when he was patting the little pumpkin.

Once he managed to get the stem off, all he wanted to do was study it and put it in his mouth. He was bummed that mom and dad wouldn't let him suck on the pumpkin stem.

The last picture we took before the costume came off. Brian says Wyatt was thinking, "come on mom, I don't feel good. Stop taking my picture already!"

Getting Ready for Halloween

To get in the Halloween spirit, Wyatt watched "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown".
On Halloween weekend, Wyatt was sick with a cold, so we stayed home instead of going to San Diego to trick or treat with his cousins. In the morning, Wyatt took a nap, all decked out in his Halloween outfit.

When he woke up, we went to the pumpkin patch. Wyatt wasn't sure what to make of the pumpkins, especially this one. It was bigger than him!

Visiting, Part 2

Wyatt had fun playing with all his family, but then he was very tired. Thankfully, he has a "nap buddy" in his cousin Meghan!
Yum! Toes!

We went to watch Hannah and Meghan's dance class. Wyatt got to visit with Aunt Shannon and Grandma Billie. He had fun talking to them. Here he is telling Grandma Billie a fascinating story about the water bottle!

Uncle Darrell made Wyatt laugh by making lion sounds. They had fun playing and watching the cars outside the dance studio. Sadly, I didn't take any pictures of the girls in their ballet clothes.

Visiting Grandma and Grandpa

A few weekends ago we went to visit Grandma and Grandpa. They have so many fun toys. I didn't know where to start.
Grandpa let me sit on the kitchen table and read the newspaper with him. I got hot from playing so I had to take my jammies off.
Grandma got out the saucer. It was fun to play with but I couldn't figure out why I couldn't bounce in it like the one I have at home.
Grandma and I had lots of fun laughing and playing together. She helped me stay sitting up with her pillows.
