Wyatt continues to grow.... We went for his two week check up yesterday (ok, a day early, but his doctor didn't have any appointments today). He gained another 7 ounces for a weight of 7 pounds, 7.5 ounces. He also grew an inch, so now he is 20.5 inches long. Since Wyatt was born, Brian and I have been congratulating ourselves on having a relatively mellow baby. It turns out that Wyatt just didn't know how to use his lungs. In the last day or so he has discovered how to yell - he especially likes to yell in my ear when I'm burping him. I don't have a video of him wailing, but I've posted one where he is one showing off his squeakiness while he sleeps on my lap.
Grandpa Bob requests a picture where Wyatt isn't all scrunched up. We're working on that, since scrunched up is currently Wyatt's favorite position. This, of course, is helped by the fact that he has no neck muscles yet! I'm also working on getting some pictures of him with his eyes open and will post them when I get them. We are also waiting for the professional pictures we had taken in the hospital - those are my favorites and will be posted as soon as I get the CD from the photographer.
