Michigan

In April I traveled to Michigan with my mom and dad for my Great Aunt Geraldine's funeral. It has been many, many years since I visited and I forgot how much I love Michigan.

One afternoon I made my parents drive me out to Lake Michigan so I could see Big Red, the lighthouse in Holland, Michigan. I later learned that Aunt Geraldine loved Big Red, so it was appropriate that we made it out to see it.

My mom and I braved the wind and blowing sand to take these pictures. We were being sandblasted as we took this one. My dad was the only one with the sense to stay in the car.

We went out and visited the dairy farm my dad was raised on. Wyatt would have been so excited to see all the animals. We saw horses, pigs, and of course, cows.

Another view of the farm.
