Wyatt is now 15 months old. Recently Brian and I have realized that he's not a baby any more, as much as he's a little boy. Thankfully he still wants to snuggle with us when he first wakes up in the morning and after naps, but we're quickly realizing how fast this baby stage has gone. At his 15 month check-up Wyatt weighed 23.05 pounds (25th percentile), was 31 inches tall (50th percentile), and his head was 47.5 cm (almost 75th percentile). Of course, we interpreted these results to mean that he's tall and skinny and super-smart!
Of his many new skills, "Say Cheese" is my favorite. He also likes to high-five and can identify a ton of animals (lions, elephants, monkeys, zebra, tigers, turtles, cats, dogs, and frogs). He is also currently obsessed with his belly button. So consider yourself warned - he may suddenly yank up your shirt to make sure you have one too!
Wyatt loves our cat Sherby and Sherby tolerates Wyatt mainly because Wyatt shares his goldfish crackers with him. We really lucked out in adopting Sherby. He has never scratched or bitten Wyatt, even though Wyatt is often very rough with him.
