Wyatt the Bully

On Sunday we had some friends over for a barbecue. I forgot to get my camera out to take pictures of Wyatt playing (nicely) with Henry and Thomas. Wyatt had a great time chasing Henry around and learning from his older friend. He was also fascinated with 4 month old Thomas and was pretty good with him (except for a light bop with an empty water bottle). Sadly, that was a sign of things to come. Our friends Bridget and Brendan stopped by with their daughter Erin, who is about 3 months younger than Wyatt. Wyatt kept smacking her, trying to pull her hair and generally being a bully! I was so embarrassed! Here he is in action.

"Waaaa!"

I kept telling Erin she should hit him back, but she is too much of a lady.

In his defense he did have a really long day and he doesn't behave like this at day care. But I secretly think this is proof that he likes her. After all, any grade-schooler can tell you that boys are mean to the girls they like best.
