Two weeks ago there was a big change in the Taft household - I went back to work and Brian began two months of paternity leave. We have been very busy - we put an offer in on a house and are now in escrow, Grandma Vickie came to visit, and Brian took Wyatt lots of exciting places.
After I come home from work, Wyatt and I like to snuggle. He usually falls asleep and I just can't bring myself to put him down!
Brian took Wyatt to the comic book store. The first time, Wyatt slept. The second time, Wyatt screamed. Brian hopes that this doesn't mean Wyatt won't share his love of comic books!
Wyatt and Grandma Vickie got to spend lots of time playing together. Here Wyatt is experiencing a teething ring for the first time.
Brian was glad that Grandma came to visit, because it meant there was someone else around to feed Wyatt. Wyatt has gotten to be a pro at eating from a bottle. Now he even likes to hold the bottle when he eats, just like a big boy.
Every day Brian takes a picture of Wyatt and sends it to me at work. This is Friday's picture, taken when I was talking to Wyatt on our speaker phone. Brian said Wyatt listened intently at first, and then went back to sucking on his fingers.
I love that he sends you a picture every day. That's very sweet. I bet you look forward to those!
